What We Do

There are a huge variety of problems that affect our society enormously on a regular basis. It is not a pleasing sight to come across people living under extreme unhygienic conditions, children moving around dirty grounds, teenagers wasting time doing irrelevant tasks, women working horrendously from house to house and so on. Most importantly, the heartbreaking part is when children are either devoid of their childhood by making them work at such an early age or the basic education as a whole that they must pursue.

However, Milestone is a reputed organization that is sincerely working towards the development of the society. The organization is taking every step to uphold the integrity of women and children from the deprived classes. Many important issues are being taken into consideration and the required steps are taken invariably. The foremost factors that are being focused are primary education, drug de-addiction programs, health facilities and disease awareness programs.

Milestone assures that the right to education is applied to every individual of the disadvantaged section of the society. It is a very important factor that we work on deliberately. Presently, we are proud to announce the functioning of a school named Bal Vatika at the Mayapuri slum area. Secondly, we have initiated many drug de-addiction programs in various areas of the city. A fully functional drug de-addiction center is also set up at Uttamnagar. On the health sector, regular health check up programs and medical camps are set across Delhi and NCR. Especially, hand wash programs are regularly introduced for the school children as well as for the people dwelling in and around the slum areas. Apart from these, awareness programs for other health related issues such as HIV/AIDS/STD and other communicable or non communicable diseases are also introduced to the people of these areas.

On a concluding note, our aim at Milestone is to work hard and for the upliftment of the society in general. We work towards the realization of the rights of the people in India.
